If you’re of a certain age, you might remember Heinz Beanz pizzas.

A unique take on a classic, the tomato sauce mixed with cheese – not to mention the inclusion of the beans themselves – gave the whole thing an extra delicious texture that was incomparable.

The pizzas were something of a ’90s cult classic, and they were sadly discontinued in 2003.

But now, 16 years after its demise, the product is back – and you’ll be able to get your hands on one from 29 March.

For a limited time only

Deliveroo have teamed up with a number of restaurants across the country to bring back the revered dish, and there are even vegan versions of the original margherita and sausage pizzas available. It’s all to celebrate the 150th birthday of Heinz.

The pizzas will be available to order from Joe Public, Pizza Punks and Proove in the following locations: London, Glasgow, Newcastle, Belfast, Manchester, Leeds and Sheffield.

They will be available from 29 March.

You’ll need to be quick though – this is a very limited offer, and only 150 of the revived pizzas will be available per restaurant.

Prices will start at £7.50 – a nod to the 75p tin of Heinz Beanz.
