Warrant Officer Colette Sunter from 143 Longridge Squadron Air Cadets has recently qualified as an archery instructor after completing her Archery GB Instructors’ Award at Crosby Hall Educational Trust in Liverpool.

She is now one of two archery instructors on the Longridge unit, providing cadets with regular archery sessions.

Colette, who spent a year with the 341 Preston Squadron before moving to the Longridge unit 25 years ago and rising through the ranks to become a warrant officer, said: “Archery is a fantastic sport to get involved in and all ages can do it. It’s thoroughly enjoyable and I recommend it to everyone to at least give it a go!”
