Fylde funnywoman Jenny Eclair will be back on home territory for World Book Night on Saturday.
The top comedienne and actress will share her literary skills at Blackpool Central Library from 7pm.
Jenny, 55, a regular on ITV’s Loose Woman and former I’m A Celebrity jungle resident, will talk about her fourth novel Moving, her story of a woman transported back to her past as she prepares to sell the house she has lived in for the last 50 years – hailed by fellow comedian Jo Brand as witty, moving, dark and absorbing’.
Her appearance is a highlight of celebrations at the library. The star grew up in Lytham and attended the former Queen Mary School in St Annes.
