Whitechapel Players take to the stage next week to present Ladies Day.
The hilarious comedy will run from November 11-14 at 7.30pm at Whitechapel Village Hall.
Ladies Day, written by Amanda Whittington is directed by Jane Hill and Diane Oldfield and produced by Julie Cowell.
A spokesperson for the show said: “This promises to be a fabulous production.”
Chancing their luck on Ladies’ Day four fish filleters from Hull women put on their glad rags and transform themselves into high society socialites.
They haven’t got tickets but doting mum Jan (Julie Cowell), best friend Pearl (Julie Ann Davies) and workmates, wannabe WAG Shelley (Jozanda Parkinson) and Tony Christie fanatic Linda (Rachel Quick) aren’t about to let a little thing like that stand in their way
The men are played by regulars Pete O’Reilly, Peter Worthington and Simon Haley, joined by Glyn Davies and Luke Webster.
The play runs from November 11-14 at 7.30pm and is not suitable for under 12s. Tickets available from Jane Heaton at firstname.lastname@example.org or call 01772 654371 or 07974818419.
