Veteran folk band The Houghton Weavers arrive in Chorley with their Christmas show next Saturday.
Since finding fame on 1970s TV series, Sit Thi Deawn the Weavers have been entertaining audiences with family friendly anecdotes, jokes and cracking folk tunes.
Still led by founder member David Littler, who lives in Ingol, Preston, they attract a dedicated legion of fans and shows often feel like family affairs with the stars trading banter with an audience they have got to know very well.
They return to Chorley Little Theatre with their inimitable blend of comedy and song to give their audience a nostalgic treat with plenty of singing along encouraged.
Doors open 7.30pm and tickets for the show are £13. Available from Malcolm’s Musicland on 01257 264362 or online at We Got Tickets/ See Tickets.
