The Great Eccleston Show, the biggest two-day show in the north west takes place this weekend, July 18 and 19.
Saturday sees dairy cattle, pigs, sheep and Shire horses taking place and on Sunday it’s the turn of the beef cattle, light horses, goats and rare breeds.
There is also a “Food Theatre” showcasing celebrated TV chef Phil Vickery, with other local establishments taking part and a Food Hall with local produce.
Marquees will be packed with more than 5000 exhibits including vegetables, floral art, cheese, home-made wine and cakes as well as photography, art and needlework.
Tractor Pulling takes place both days and is getting bigger every year with tractors from all over Europe competing to be the best. And as well as these modern machines there will be a stunning selection of vintage machinery and tractors all lovingly restored and refurbished by their dedicated owners.
There will all kinds of demonstrations and activities for all the family including the National Hawking School; Memory Marquee made up of exhibits from local villages; working craftsmen; sheep shearing show; Craft & Gift Marquee; City of Coventry Corps of Drums on Sunday and on Saturday the Joseph Peace Fire Stunt Show.
