Longridge dancers perform ‘The Lion King’

A school for dance in Longridge has celebrated with a summer show based on the famous story of The Lion King.

The Vibes Dance School was started in the town by Hayley Roberts almost two years ago and the lively and colourful performance was given by 22 of its young members.

Aged from four years to ten, the youngsters were dressed in the several different costumes from the popular tale.

Disney’s award-winning musical has been seen by 75 million people around the world and is now in its 16th year at the Lyceum Theatre in London. It started as an animated film telling the story of Simba and his epic journey to fulfil his destiny as King of the Pridelands.
