Patron of music at St Cecilia’s RC High School and internationally known Fleetwood tenor Alfie Boe will be “appearing” at the Longridge school’s hall on Friday, March 18, to help raise funds for school, but not in person.

The singer has sent a DVD of the 25th anniversary performance of the world renowned musical, Les Miserables, in which he performed at the London O2 Arena, to the school and this will be played on the night, which runs from 7pm to approximately 10pm.

Tickets are £10 including hotpot and everyone is invited to take their own wine and beer. But numbers for the event will be strictly limited and tickets are available on a first-come, first-served basis, so the message is buy them early, from the school office by cash or cheque or at the Yorkshire Building Society on Berry Lane, Longridge.

“Please do come and join us and to watch this truly fantastic performance,” said a school PTFA spokesperson.
