Richardt Frenz and Henry Thompson both scored half centuries as Leyland made light work of Lancaster on Saturday at Lune Road.
The pair ensured Leyland only lost two wickets when chasing Lancaster’s below par total of 153.
Lancashire’s Luis Reece did the damage with the ball as he claimed his first five-wicket haul since returning to the club.
Victory for Leyland has seen them move up to sixth in the Northern Premier League table.
It was Lancaster who won the toss and elected to bat.
Professional Rameez Raja Jnr top scored with 59 and Samuel Moorby hit 33.
Reece bowled well and mopped up the tail to finish with figures of 5-52.
Promising all-rounder Nathan McDonnell also took 4-19 off eight overs including the key wicket of Raja.
Reece and Chris Parkinson both fell cheaply but after that it was the Frenz (78 not out) and Thompson (67 not out) show.
They hit a combined total of 25 boundaries and one six as 148 was put on for the third wicket.
Lancaster used six bowlers in the innings but nobody could contain the pair.
The usually reliable Ben Simm bowled three overs for 30 and Raja’s three overs went for 31.
The winning runs were brought up in the 27th over.
On Saturday, Leyland make the trip to Broadwater as they take on title chasing Fleetwood.
The second team won by 81-runs in an entertaining game at Fox Lane.
Ross Bretherton (100 not out) and Jake Peake (78) took it to the Lancaster bowlers as Lancaster declared on 260-6.
Ian Farrington and Michael Birchall shared seven wickets as Lancaster were bowled out for 179.
