Longridge Golf Club is to show-off its newly modified course at the annual open day this weekend.
Wannabe golfers and youngsters interested in the sport will be able to give the club a shot with a full day of competitions and coaching lined up.
The 5861 yard, par 70 course at Fell Barn, off Jeffrey Hill, Longridge has recently undergone modifications to the sixth, eleventh and fifteenth holes to enhance the quality of the course.
The Club will be open to visitors on Sunday June 14 from 10.30am.
Club spokesman Roger Stamp said: “With an enthusiastic Juniors’ Section and various initiatives to encourage all players, particularly ladies and newcomers to take up the game, there’s never been a better time to “join us on the Fell”.
“With magnificent views of the Fylde Coast, Forest of Bowland and Ribble Valley, it’s a truly invigorating location to play golf.”
Club coach PGA Professional Stephen Taylor and his team will be on hand with competitions, coaching and advice in the club’s driving and practice facility.
Courtesy golf will be available to existing players with members on the day and some exciting and substantial golf prizes will be “up for grabs.”
