Longridge Town Juniors football club and Dewhurst Homes are a force to be reckoned with after a successful beginning to their season.
The club has thanked its new found partners who have generously sponsored all of their 10 teams, which spans from under 6’s to under 18’s.
Neil Laurie, Club Secretary said the club was very thankful to Dewhurst Homes for their contribution to Longridge Town Juniors.
He said: “We look forward to a continued partnership with the company for many seasons to come.
“Undoubtedly this huge sponsorship will help raise the profile further of a well-run and often successful, local junior football organisation, where many hard working people give up their time voluntarily for the good of the local community.
“We are not a club that is in it to win it, it’s about having fun in the community for all ages and abilities.”
Chris Dewhurst, Managing Director of Dewhurst Homes and avid local fundraiser in the community said: “Being part of the local community and fund raising for national and local charities, has always been something close to our hearts here at Dewhurst Homes.
“Our lives are often hectic and busy, but it gives me great pleasure in putting something back into our communities and much needed funds for charities for those less fortunate than ourselves”.
Dewhurst Homes are already getting into the Christmas spirit and are proud to be supporting the children’s ice rink again at St Catherine’s Hospice Christmas Fair which is on December 6 from 12 - 5pm and December 7 from 12 - 4pm.
The Dewhurst Homes staff are also busy making up Christmas Hampers to hand out to the elderly residents in the Garstang community.
