Longridge Town FC are calling on the public to join them for a combination of beer and football this weekend.
Town play two pre-season games this weekend to tie in with this year’s Longridge Beerfest.
Game one takes place on Friday evening with Lee Ashcroft’s players in action against a Fleetwood Town XI.
Kick-off is 6pm with the beer festival closing at 11pm.
Saturday sees a junior football competition and presentations taking place from noon onwards.
Twenty-four hours later and a Town Vets team will be in action against a Preston North End Legends line-up, the match starting at 2pm.
The three-day event will also include live music and a DJ set.
Tickets cost £5 for the whole weekend ; alternatively, non-beer festival ticket holders can pay £3 per game on Friday and Sunday but tickets may still be bought on the day.
Friday’s game will be Town’s first pre-season outing after rain forced the postponement of last Saturday’s match against Leyland United.
