Teddies will be used to comfort children who have been involved in a road collision in East Lancashire.
The little toys will be given to children who have been involved in a crash – either as a passenger or pedestrian.
PC Simon Grounds said: “It is particularly distressing when we see young children involved in road collisions.
“We find that children are often extremely scared and overwhelmed and don’t always understand what is happening. A collision can be a traumatic and life changing experience for anyone – let alone children.
“These teddy bears can help both comfort and calm children.”
In 2014, 53 children were seriously injured on East Lancashire’s roads.
The 350 teddies were funded by the Lancashire Partnership for Road Safety.
