Every pupil at St Cecilia’s RC High School, Longridge has been given an Easter egg, thanks to the generosity of town businesses.
A total of 375 crème eggs were donated by Booths, the Co-op and Sainsbury’s, Longridge.
St Cecilia’s headteacher, Ivan Catlow said he would like to thank the three stores for donating the crème eggs to school and said:
“It was a real delight handing them out as the children left for the Easter break.”
Holy week was a very full week in school which started with a retreat day for the Year 11 pupils, a service of reconciliation on the
Tuesday and the Easter liturgies at the end of Maundy Thursday.
