Residents alerted to burglary spree

Police have uged homeowners to be vigilant after a spate of residential burglaries have taken place in the Langho area.

Overnight on Wednesday, February 24th, a house in Moorland Road was broken into. The offenders gained access to the property via a conservatory window, giving access to the rest of the house. A quantity of cash was stolen from the property.

In the next reported incident, sometime on Thursday, February 25th, a house in Whalley Road was broken into. The offenders gained entry by climbing on to a ground floor flat roof below the property, then forced a dormer window to gain entry to the house. Once inside, a quantity of jewellery, watches and cash was stolen (police crime number ED1602763).

Between Wednesday, 24th and Friday, February 25th, another house in Whalley Road was also broken into. The offenders gained access to the property via a ground floor window at the rear of the house. Once inside, a quantity of jewellery was stolen.

Anyone with any information regarding any of these crimes is asked to call Lancashire Police on 101 and quote the respective crime reference number.
