A police investigation has been launched after a family returned from holiday to discover a collection of jewellery had been stolen from their home.
Thieves broke into the property in Whalley Road, Langho, and helped themselves to irreplaceable items and a selection of electrical goods.
They scaled a fence and smashed their way in through a double glazed ground floor door.
Inspector Ian Cooper of Clitheroe Police said the break-in, which happened between Saturday and Wednesday, February 6th and 10th, was believed to be an isolated incident.
Anyone with information is asked to ring 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
