Police appeal for man missing from home with Clitheroe links

Police are appealing for help in finding a man who has gone missing from his home in Lancaster.

Jonathan Hunt (36), was last seen at around 9 pm on Wednesday July 15th outside his home address on Rowan Bank, Halton, and has not made contact with family since.

He is described as white, around 5ft 9 ins tall, of a slim build, with short black hair and is clean shaven.

He has a number of tattoos including a lion on the left of his chest and others on his neck and hands. His left ear is also pierced a number of times.

He is known to have links to the Morecambe area and may also have links to Clitheroe as he was due to be attending a festival in the area this weekend. The music festival Beat-Herder is currently being staged just outside Clitheroe.

PC 599 Matt Saunders, of Lancaster Police, said: “We are growing ever more concerned about the whereabouts and welfare of Jonathan and we would urge anyone with information about possible sightings or where he may be to please call us.

“Similarly if Jonathan sees this appeal, please get in contact with the police and let us know that you are safe and well.”
