Two well known Longridge men are set to shave off half of their heads and the alternate sides of their beards in aid of two charities close to their hearts next week.

Dave Dinsdale, 26 and Fiorentino (Tino) Ferrari, 34 will be going for the sponsored shave off, to be carried out by Ike Walmsley, this Monday, September 4 at Longridge’s Tap and Vent at 7pm and aim to maintain their “new look” for a month.

Originally aiming to raise £1,000, the pair were delighted to report that by the end of last week, more than £900 had already been pledged for their two charities, Macmillan Cancer Support and St Catherine’s Hospice.

There will also be a raffle on Monday, to further boost funds and all are welcome.

If you would like to sponsor Dave and Tino, sponsor forms are available at Tap and Vent, or you can go to their just giving page, https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/fiorentino-ferrari.
