Members of St Michael and St John’s Ladies’ Group in Clitheroe presented a cheque for £1,400 to Ribble Valley Food Bank after raising the funds at a coffee morning held in the Mayor’s parlour.

Further funds were raised during a performance by the Rossendale Male Voice Choir held in church last month and attended by Ribble Valley Mayor Coun. Bridget Hilton.

On Friday January 29th the group will welcome back Jimmy Cricket in concert at the parish hall, Lowergate. Tickets costing £10 include light refreshments. His last event for the group was a huge success and a complete sell out. The proceeds from this next event will be donated to Leukaemia Research.
