Come along and see the 2016 Goosnargh and Whittingham Whitsuntide Festival year launched with a swing!

“Showtime” takes place at Goosnargh Village Hall, Church Lane, at 2pm this
Sunday, January 31.

Those fortunate enough to see the students’ outstanding production of “Into the Woods” at Preston Charter Theatre will know what to
expect.

During the interval, festival queen 2015 Melissa Crawley will draw her successor’s name and high school pupils resident in Goosnargh or Whittingham may register between 1 and 2pm on the day, with the support of a parent/guardian, if they wish to be queen.

Special guests will include the Mayor of Preston and the President of Longridge and North Preston Rotary Club.

Admission is £2 for adults and £1 for children, but is free for performers and festival queen candidates.
