Eileen, who was educated at Clitheroe Royal Grammar School, has lived locally all her life and is now retired after a working life involved in the wine trade, giving her more opportunities to enjoy her garden which is her major hobby.

“I enjoy shopping locally, which has rewarded me with this fantastic hamper. I couldn’t be happier,” she said.

Christine has lived in Clitheroe all her life and used to work for the Rural District Council prior to the boundary changes in 1974, and later worked at Clitheroe Hospital.

Christine enjoys her garden and is also a keen watercolour artist.

As a lifelong Clitheronian I was thrilled when I was told I had won a prize in the Shop Clitheroe Superdraw and was even happier when I saw the hamper!
