Longridge High School’s production of Bugsy Malone was a roaring success!
Two stunning performances captivated audiences both nights after staff chose the musical so lots of pupils could experience the thrill of the stage.
Directed by Rose Handley and Billy Hunter, musically directed by Rick Kershaw, choreographed by Kat Stemp, the live band had staff and pupils playing together.
Leads were Will McGevor as Bugsy, Chris Forrest as Fat Sam, Amber Barratt as Blousie Brown, Emily McGevor as Tallulah and Sam Soper as Dandy Dan, ably supported by a magnificent cast.
Brilliant costumes reflected the 1920s, as did impressive dance sequences plus splurge guns, custard pies. and the foam-filled final scene!
