Biker in court after 129mph smash near Whalley

A 54-year-old biker has appeared before Blackburn magistrates charged with dangerous driving following a 129 mph crash near Whalley.

Roman John Mondryck is alleged to have been involved in “racing and showing off” during the incident on June 7th which ended with his bike hitting a car and him suffering serious injuries.

Mondryk, of Bridge Hall Fold, Bury, is charged with dangerous driving on a Yamaha YZF R1 on Accrington Road.

He was sent on bail to Preston Crown Court.
