A motorcyclist, who suffered head injuries after crashing into a stone wall near Gisburn, has died in hospital.
James Hall (44) was riding his Suzuki motorcycle along the A682 when the crash happened a mile south of the Todber Caravan Park at about 6.20pm on Friday, May 20th. Police said the biker lost control of the motorcycle before crashing into a dry stone wall. He was thrown from the machine and received significant head injuries and numerous broken ribs.
Mr Hall, who was from Colne, was airlifted to the Royal Preston Hospital, where he died on Sunday.
Police have appealed for witnesses and anyone who can help is asked to contact Lancashire Police on 101, quoting log LC-20160520-1230.
