A musician, teacher and vocal coach will host her own “open mic” style event to showcase her pupils’ talent.

Hannah Spurgeon is one half of local band The Remedy who are lined up to play at the upcoming Summer Days Festival. The talented Clitheroe-based Guitar, Ukulele and Vocal coach, who has around 30 students, will host The Festival Of Fresh Talent at Grindleton Pavilion on Friday, July 22nd.

Hannah said: “The Festival Of Fresh Talent is the chance for my pupils to perform in a friendly, welcoming, vibrant, creative and encouraging environment. I am immensely passionate about giving young musicians the freedom to perform and celebrate their talent – music is made to be heard!

“Each pupil will be given the chance to perform either with me or on their own. It should be a great night - expect lots of festival surprises such as wrist bands, great music and fairy lights!”

The festival will take between 6 and 9 pm, with all pupils asked to arrive at 5 pm for sound checks.

Tickets are £4 for adults and £2 for concessions.
