Longridge club launches darts competition

WHITTINGHAM Club near Longridge is holding an eight week Panel Darts 501 Knockout competition starting on Friday, March 27.
As the name suggests, the competition is run over eight Friday nights, with two darters each week qualifying to play in a Grand Final on May 29.
Players can enter as many times as they like to try to qualify for the final stages where they will play for big cash prizes. The cost of entry is £3.
Registration is on the night prior to 8.15pm.
The prize fund is starting at a minimum of £300.
The competition is open to both men and ladies although there will be a separate ladies competition from week two with prizes subject to entries.
Whittingham Club is the venue for one of the areas best known Open Competitions held for the past 10 years on the first Sunday in July. This year the date is July 5 and the prize fund for this event stands at £1200.
