KEEN bowler Harry Malley celebrated his birthday with a couple of fellow bowling enthusiasts from Longridge Conservative Club - the trio having a combined age of 270!
Harry was marking his 90th birthday with a game at the Con Club alongside his great friend Fred Slater, 88, the pair continuing to enjoy playing up the four times a week, while their friend and gentle critic/supporter Fred Swanton cheers them on at every match at the age of 92.
And their advancing years haven't diminished the skills on the green of Harry and the two Freds - all three were part of last season's Conservative Club team in the Woodplumpton Veterans Bowling League that lifted the division one cup after winning the final at Broughton.
