Garstang’s Country Hotel and Golf Club was the venue for the county Women’s Institute show.
For two days visitors from across the region enjoyed seeing some 2,200 entries, including art, photography, floral art, horticulture, craft, preserves and cookery.
A “sweet” addition for this year was a showcase of locally produced honey and associated products, such as honey cake and scones plus beeswax candles, part of the WI national federation’s campaign to help save the honey bee.
Pam Wade. of Lancashire WI, said: “Our annual show is a real highlight. There’s always a wonderful array of arts, crafts, food, flowers and more on display.”
The first Lancashire WI show was held in 1980.
