How many school dining areas can boast a Michelin Star chef? Ribblesdale High School in Clitheroe can.

The new dining area was opened by the nationally renowned executive chef from Northcote Manor in Langho Lisa Goodwin-Allen who spoke about the importance of food and high quality dining facilities for young people and officially unveiled a plaque celebrating the event.

The new area forms part of a three year refurbishment programme of the school’s dining facilities, including two other eating areas and a new central kitchen which now has 600 covers a day. The modern style dining area combines healthy fast food with a modern eating area.
