Tiny tots got the chance to see what life is like going green!

Children from Bowland Montessori pre school walked across Clitheroe to visit Cycles Recycled on North Street. They were welcomed by Charlotte Evans and shop owner Ian Gibbs who explained that they took in donations of old bicycles and parts and recycled them into new bikes. The children took some spare parts they had collected as part of a topic on recycling and they were shown some unusual bicycles that had also been donated including a clown’s bike, unicycle and penny farthing.

The children had a busy recycling week after their visit to the bike shop. They made vases from plastic bottles at the pre school, made paper bricks for fuel, and also visited Henthorn recycling centre.
