A medley of songs from the era of their youth brought back many happy memories for residents at Clitheroe Care Home.
Singer Maria Manchester arrived at the home in traditional air force uniform and sang a selection of songs from the 1940s that residents could join in with.
The home was decorated with red, white and blue bunting and flags for the day and everyone got the chance to have their picture taken with Maria as a keepsake of the day.
Residents are also looking forward to seeing pictures they had taken recently after a professional make-over and pamper day which was a great success and part of the home’s wide programme of activities.
The portraits are to go on display at special open day.
