The start of term saw Longridge High School welcome seven new staff members to the school.
They have quickly established themselves in the classroom and are enjoying being part of the Longridge High School team.
The seven are Mr Elder, who is head of inclusion and the behaviour manager, Mr McDonald (science), Mr Wright (PE ) , Mr Baines (PE), Mr Conway (ICT), Mr Hunter ( English) and Mr Mochan (geography).
The new term also saw the school welcome 140 Year Seven pupils, who have settled in well and are enjoying their lessons and the extra curricular opportunities.
Newcomer William Bennett said: “I am really enjoying school. My favourite subject is technology because you can make lots of really cool things. At the moment, I am making a moisture sensor.”
Vickisha Chohan is also enjoying the school and said: “My favourite subject is maths. I love it because it’s fun!’”
