Prom Fayre: Students pictured at last years event

Students looking towards their high school prom this year need look no further than Longridge High School for ideas.

Following last year’s success, the school is staging a Prom Fayre, to be held on Thursday, March 7, which is open to students from all the high schools in the area.

The high school prom can be one of the most exciting and poignant events in a student’s high school life.

Longridge High has organised for three transport modes to go along on the night; a VW camper van, a vintage car and a horse and carriage.

There is also catwalk appearances from Fable and Promise Wedding and Prom Company; Love Shoes and Handbag; Flower Glade Floral Designs and Balloon Art Accessories; Grace’s Hair Design from the Green Room; The Green Room Nails and Beauty; The Retreat Hair Design; Tip Toes Nails and Beauty; Charlotte Holden Photography and Foxglove Jewellery.

The students taking to the catwalk will have their hair and makeup done before the catwalk highlights at 8pm.

Tickets are £2 and all are welcome - mum, dads, grans, etc. Spray tans and nails will be done free of charge, as will hair designs and everyone will receive a free cava-non-alcoholic cava and canapés on arrival,
