Cycling furiously in store on an exercise bike, selling scratch cards, entering quizzes and keeping fit - that’s what four determined fundraisers have done for Sport Relief - and raised a fantastic £3,310 in the process!

They all work at Sainsbury’s in Longridge and have only just totted up the grand total with their colleagues who ran the quizzes at the Towneley Arms and also entered a sweepstake.

They said: “We would like to thank all customers who generously dropped money in buckets as well as buying Sports Relief scratch cards, T-shirts and merchandise.”
