The Clitheroe Pinnacle Project 3D Art Competition saw entries from a wide age range of children from Pendle Primary School and St Michael and St John’s RC Primary School.
The models were very varied and the judges, Keith Parkinson and Beverley Chapelhow, of Ribble Valley Art Studios, were amazed at the quality.
A winner was chosen from the Reception, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. These were all from Pendle Primary School and their certificates and prizes were presented at the end of term assembly. Other entries were commended and certificates and prizes awarded by Clitheroe Civic Society.
The winning and commended entries are on display at Clitheroe Castle Museum, Platform Gallery and Clitheroe Library for one month. Thanks go to Ribble Valley Borough Council for assistance with printing costs, Derwent Pencils for prizes, all the town’s primary schools for distributing the entry forms and pupils for their hard work.
