A new management trio has taken over the reins at a popular hotel.
Cameron McNeillie, Ben Carey and Sharon Brook have taken up the top roles at the Preston Marriott Hotel in Broughton.
The trio have all worked for the Marriott chain over the years, in either previous hotels or positions and the three of them bring a wealth of managerial experience in the corporate, event and leisure market.
Cameron joins as general manager, Ben as director of operations and Sharon as senior sales manager.
South African born Cameron relocated from Russia.
He has spent the last three years launching and managing a brand new hotel for the Marriott chain.
Ben moved from the group’s city centre hotel in Liverpool.
Sharon Brook from Fulwood in the city returns to the hotel after four and a half years away.
She has gained valuable experience at the Inn at Whitewell and the North and Western Lancashire Chamber of Commerce.
Cameron said of the appointments: “Our aim is to make the hotel accessible to all and everyone to feel inclusive, no matter what their needs, whether they are looking for an informal wedding, meeting a friend for coffee, attending a business lunch or just enjoying the gym.
“We want people to feel comfortable and at home.”
The landmark Preston Marriott, in Garstang Road, Broughton, is a 149 bedroom hotel with 10 meeting rooms.
It is a four star hotel and offers modern amenities with an indoor swimming pool and spa leisure club.
The hotel was once a Victorian manor .
