Longridge Heritage Centre’s special exhibition celebrating the Queen’s 90th birthday was thoroughly enjoyed by the Maddock family from Longridge, pictured with Centre volunteers.

The event has proved very popular with visitors to both the Centre and the adjacent Old Station cafe, said volunteer Suzy.

“Lots have been round looking at the selection of items on the Queen, the history of the Duchy of Lancaster and photos of her visit to the county.”

Another board covers the visits she has made as sovereign to many different parts of the world, and another her more personal photos.

The exhibition runs to the end of the month.
