It is all change this season at Longridge Cricket Club ahead of the new Palace Shield season.
The club’s new sponsor Jigsaw Training was unveiled in Saturday’s pre-season friendly against Ramsbottom.
In addition, club legend Andy Dodd has returned to Chipping Road a 1st XI manager.
The team are in the safe hands of Kyle Helm, who has replaced outgoing captain Ian Simpson.
Helm will be looking for a winning start to the campaign ahead of Saturday’s opening-day visit to Fylde.
He said: “Ian has done a fantastic job before me and we have been there or thereabouts in the title shake-up in recent years.
“We’re a strong side and everyone knows their job and steps up when they need to.
“We are more than capable of pushing Great Eccleston, Garstang and Vernons all the way in the league.”
On Sunday, Longridge travel to Northern League champions Morecambe in the first round of the ECB National Knockout.
