Fancy dress: four years and under – Rainbow Mermaid – Isabelle (aged three); five to eight years – Aerial Mermaid – Eleanor (aged five); nine to 10 years – Olympic Torch Holder – Ben (aged nine).

11–16 years – Lassie come home – Paige Bown with Misty.

Group fancy dress: First prize and winner of the Alan Brown Memorial Trophy – Bill and Ben, Courtney and Eric; second – Fairy Ring – Shannon and Tamzin Harrison; third – Alice in Wonderland – the Girls from Skipton.

Floats: Winners receive the Alan Riding Rose Bowl, and this went to first placed St Wilfrid’s School and Nursery with Neptune’s Kingdom; second – Around the World in 80 Days by Longridge CE Primary School, Berry Lane; third – Celebrating 44 Years of Mrs Irene Reid, Lollipop Lady by Little People at The Limes.

Best decorated house/shop:

Winners receive the Dog Inn Jubilee Trophy, and this went to first placed Mary Frances; second – Especially for You; third – Barn Cakes.

Vintage Cars: Winners receive the Jim Dobson Memorial Trophy, and this went to first placed Triumph Herald (1960), JD Cornall, Pilling (fully restored); second – Citroen 2CV6 Dolly (1988), M Whitby, Longridge; third – Ford Capri (1977) – B Cookson, Blackburn.

Motorcycles: Winners receive the Conservative Club Rose Bowl, and this went to first placed BSA 650 A10, Morris Copeland, Warton; second – Kawasaki 22R 600, Mr Okpol, Longridge; third – Kawasaki ERGN, Mr Gilday, Broughton.

Football and tug-of-war competitions were cancelled on safety grounds due to the weather.

Scarecrow competition: Group one: first – Cpl T Baldrick by 142 (Longridge) Sqn, Air Cadets; second – Rosie Petals by Evie Hill Cara and Amy; third – Queenie by Grace Ollerton and family.

Group two: first – Harmony Herb by Evie Hill Cara and Amy; second – Dr Einstein by Ash and Lucy Maxwell; third – Lilleth May by Shannon Harrison.

Raffle: First prize of £100 – ticket no 0284.

Second prize of £20 voucher – ticket no 0038 – Mary Frances.

Third prize of £20 voucher – Buildbase, ticket no 0037.

All 25 prizes have been claimed.

Prize list will be displayed in the Youth Club.
