Goosnargh St Mary’s Flower Club celebrated its 30th anniversary in style.
Chairman Fliss Pemberton and the committee were delighted to welcome area chairman Muriel Simpson, vice-chairmen Pauline Walker and Joan Twigger and associate of honour Josephine Yates, who joined 54 members at a dinner held in Goosnargh Village Hall.
An excellent meal was provided by Tim Slater, followed by a beautifully decorated cake made by treasurer Sylvia Smith and cut by founder member Lilian Swarbrick and longest serving committee member Helen Ashworth.
The evening continued in a very lively manner with entertainment by singer Pamela James, who had everyone joining in, tapping their feet and even dancing!
All the guests were presented with a commemorative keyring to mark the anniversary.
