A new £1m leisure development will be unveiled in the heart of St Michael’s village this Easter weekend.
Lodge Holdings have recently completed an exclusive two-year re-development of Wyreside Fisheries in Garstang Road.
The former caravan park and fishery has been transformed into a new holiday and residential park with the building of 30 luxury lakeside lodges. The bespoke Rowanwater site will officially open on Good Friday.
A spokesman for Lodge Holdings said: “We are upfront and honest about what we are offering and we have gone to great lengths to create a comfortable, exclusive environment for our residents to enjoy.
“The tranquillity of the lakeside plots and the beautiful views create the perfect atmosphere for a classic countryside lifestyle.”
The developers are also expected to re-open the St Michael’s only village store this summer, which was closed while building was completed. The holiday retreat will also boast a new coffee shop for the wider community.
The aim of the development is to create a private community, where residents can enjoy a relaxing countryside lifestyle.
An open weekend event will take place at Rowanwater on Good Friday, April 18 and Easter Saturday, April 19.
