Keen crafts promoter Charlie Bolton is once again bringing local skills to the fore this comng Saturday, May 3.

His monthly ‘Let’s Get Crafty in Longridge’ – always held on the first Saturday of the month – takes place at Longridge Civic Hall from 10am to 4pm.

Having moved to Longridge from regular pitches in other Ribble Valley towns, Charlie is attracting many different skilled and creative people to take stalls in the Longridge venue.

As his photo from a previous event shows, these colourful birds filled one stall and, with others offering a wide range of gifts, clothes, glassware and more on every occasion.

Let’s Get Crafty is set a to be a great day out for all of the family with live music, crafting demonstrations and workshops throughout the day, as well as face painting and a vintage tearoom. Entry is free so members of the public cab bring all their family and friends. Previous fairs have proved very popular, the first one in February being attended by four mayoral guests – Town mayor and mayoress Coun David and Sheila Moon and Ribble Valley mayor and mayoress Coun Richard Sherras and Lynne Pate.
