The festive season was celebrated with a traditional carol service and Nativity at Whalley’s Oakhill School.

The production was a fitting way to round off the Christmas term.

There were readings and prayers from members of the student council amd an impressive instrumental version of the moving carol Silent Night played by the woodwind group and a harp solo of the Once In Royal David’s City.

The audience of parents, friends and relatives were entertained by a production of Jesus’ Christmas Party, their interpretation of the Nativity, staged by reception pupils and students from years one and two.
