A Garstang-based charity has helped a football club secure funding for a defibrillator.

West Lancashire League Premier Division outfit Euxton Villa has received grants to help fund the purchase of the equipment.

The club wanted to purchase the machine after the death of popular Chorley footballer Stephen Connor, who died after collapsing during a Sunday league football match last December.
