Nine shared ownership homes are up for grabs by Ribble Valley residents at Lawson Rise in Whalley.

The two and three-bedroom properties are available from between 25 and 75 per cent ownership from as little as £51, 250.

The spacious garden properties are built to a unique specification by innovative developer Redrow and combine traditional architecture with all the comforts of modern living.

They will be launched at a registration event in one of the properties at 6 Fountain Way, Lawson Rise, on Tuesday, December 13th, from 3 to 7pm.

People will be able to view the houses, meet the sales team, talk to specialist shared ownership mortgage advisers and even reserve a new home.

Simon Hore, chairman of Ribble Valley Borough Council’s health and housing committee, said: “The provision of affordable housing is one of the council’s biggest challenges and we are working closely with developers and housing partners to address the problem.

“We are delighted to have supported the Lawson Rise scheme, which is making much-needed high-quality properties available to residents with a local connection for affordable rent, shared ownership or sale.”

The properties are available for residents with a local connection, particularly from Whalley, and further information is available from Ribble Valley Borough Council’s housing team on 01200 425111 or the Lawson Rise shared ownership housing team on 020 3744 0415.
