The senior management team at the hotel received an Team of Excellence award.

The awards, presented by BBC Radio Lancashire’s John Gillmore, aim to celebrate the success of the Ribble Valley’s tourism businesses such as restaurants, hotels and attractions by recognising the efforts of individual staff.

Philip Wharton, general manager of Stanley House, said: “Everyone involved in the hotel is immensely proud. We all work so hard to create and uphold high standards in customer care and to have many of our people recognised for this is a real honour.

“As a region, it’s great we focus time and resources on showcasing the Ribble Valley and the people who make it a successful area. It is a great place to do business and the quality and diversity of the tourism offer is something we should all be proud of. We’re a national destination.”
