A NEW chapter is about the open in the ongoing saga of The Dog Inn at Longridge.
Restaurateur Tony Walters has announced he has finally secured a victory in his bid to relocate his Victoria's India restaurant to the landmark pub.
After more than a year of at times difficult negotiations over the lease a deal has now been agreed and a delighted Mr Walters, who runs the business with his wife Carole, said:
Secured
"We are very happy at last to have secured The Dog and would like to thank the folk for supporting us at the licensing hearing and others that have seen us through the worst of the protracted delays and frustrations of our application."
Mr and Mrs Walters hope to open The Dog Inn pub first, within the next month to six weeks, with 'Victoria's India' opening there a couple of weeks later.
