Man pleads guilty over Longridge Halifax armed robbery

A MAN has pleaded guilty to carrying out an armed robbery at the Halifax Building Society in Longridge in January.
Michael Parr, of Naden Walk, Whitefield, Manchester, appeared at Bolton Crown Court this morning (Friday, June 19).
He also pleaded guilty to two other armed robberies at Marsden's Jewellers in Clitheroe in December and a jewellers in Southport in November last year, as well as an attempted cash-in-transit robbery in Bury on January 7.
Parr has been remanded in custody for sentencing, which will take place at Bolton Crown Court on July 17.
