THE head office of leading regional retailer Booths has been ranked alongside some of the best commercial developments in London and the North West by the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI).
The Booths head office building, on Longridge Road on the Grimsargh boundary, scooped two top architectural awards for its design at RTPI North West awards in Manchester.
It was named 'Best New Office Building' and 'Overall Winner'.
The RTPI judges were impressed by the client's and the architect's vision for the design, external appearance and layout, together with all the green elements which play a part in the functioning of the building.
Graham Booth, from Booths, said: "We're pleased. We wanted to create a comfortable and contemporary environment."
