CHIPPING Scout Group have been the main beneficiaries thanks to the success of the tenth Chipping Steam Fair.
Once again the fair was a huge success - thanks to supporters, helpers and exhibitors and three days of lovely sunshine.
This has resulted in £4,000 being given to the Scout group to help towards the cost of purchasing a new minibus.
Smaller amounts have also been given to Chipping Brownies, Chipping in Bloom, Chipping First Responders, the Community Centre, the three Chipping churches, CHAOS (Chipping Welfare Committee), the Friends of Chernobyl's Children and the village information board.
The Steam Fair Committee would like to say a big thank you to everyone involved in making the event such a success.
